My mother always told me that she respects people who never gives up.
I sometimes think that my she likes it when I go to castings more than when I go to my photo shoots.
小さいころから努力をする人は、
成功すると聞かされていました。
母にとっては、私がオーデションに行く事が
一番うれしいい事だと最近感じました。

After I came back to Japan from New York, I started to lose my direction and my motivation.
Everything around me seemed 'fake'
So many things were going through my mind and I didn't know what to believe.
NYから日本に来た時、前が真っ暗になってとても不安になった。
気ずくと、なにをするにも自信をなくしてて、自分を見失いかけていました。

The other day when I was getting ready for my castings, I realized that my broken high heels were fixed.
My mom took them into repair and shined them for me.
What she did might seem like a minor thing, but it was so significant to me at the time.
It not only helped me get to the castings, but it gave me motivation and energy to move forward.
And i knew then, that I want to make good use of my time in Japan to learn, experience, and grow.
オーデションに行く準備をしてて、ヒールを履いていたら
ボロボロに壊れていた私のヒールが、新品のようになっていました。
母が直しておいてくれてたのです！
小さな事だけど、
その出来事を自分の一大転機と、とらえました。
それから、ものすごくやる気がわいて、
これからも前向きに歩いていきたいと思いました。

I'm lucky to have such a caring mother
