LAMP SHADE

1. Design your two rhombus-shaped-watercolor-paper.. each with four equal panels of isosceles or right triangles

2. Make creases by scoring the sides of the triangles. Paint with watercolor or watered down acrylics (sprinkle salt for cool gradient effect (the salt absorbs the wet paint))

3. Apply glue to the tabs 

4. Attach the two rhombuses together with the tabs

voila! 

fyi I almost failed geometry and chem in high school..  it's really easier than it sounds

Branches are from the park! I painted them black and sewed them on. 

I have vellum attached on the inside for softer light.

1. Print and trace your type on sticky foamcore and sticky wallpaper. Cut out the letters
